Cream Control Goes Live!
January 2010
Andrew Hale, Record Producer and long-term Songwriter and Keyboard Player for the multi-platinum selling band 'Sade', recently extended his recording studio operation to include the main control room at the Cream Production Studios. The studio is now equipped with a 48-fader Solid State Logic Duality SE mixing console, a fully expanded Digidesign Pro Tools|HD Accel system, Miller & Kreisel studio monitors and outboard equipment from; Eventide, DBX, Drawmer, Lexicon, Sony and Telefunken.
The move into Cream in February coincides with the release of 'Soldier of Love' the sixth studio album from 'Sade'.
Andrew commented "With the purchase of the Duality console I was looking for a dedicated mix room to do it justice and Cream provides that and more. The room sounds great and with the adjoining booth and connection to the large live room it allows me the freedom to work on anything from a laptop project to an orchestral score - Im pretty stoked about the move!"
The Cream Control Room and associated 850ft SQ Live Area are available for commercial hire, rates are subject to the duration of the rental, please contact Siobhan Paine for further details: siobhan@thecreamstudios.com
